Nabard Award for Excellent Performance:

The Bank has been conferred the Excellent Performance Award constituted by the Farmers Club Federation of NABARD. This Award is in recognition of the model venture of organising and sustaining Self Help Groups of women and farmers. Secretary of the bank received the award from Sri K.R.Viswambaran IAS Vice Chancellor of the Kerala Agricultural University inthe presence of Sri K.V. Thomas, Minister of state for Agriculture and Sri Mullakkara Rathnakaran Minister for Agriculture, Kerala

  • 1931-Registration of Peringandur Co-operative Society with unlimited liability
  • 1932-Bank started functioning. The first managing committee.
  • 1933-General Body elects Sri. Manakkulam Kunjan Raja as first president..First Deposit (Rs.100/-) from Manakkulam Mukundaraja
  • 1948-Society shifted to own building
  • 1950-Appointed First paid Secretary
  • 1954-The society is raised as Agricultural Co-operative Bank.
  • 1957-Parlikkad Co-operative society is amalgamated to the bank.
  • 1967-Registered as Service Co-operative Bank
  • 1983-Golden Jubilee celebrations.
  • 1999-Computerisation inauguration .Started Neethi Medical Store
  • 2001-First branch at Medical College.Bank made profit after covering accumulated loss
  • 2005-Started Extension Counter at Parlikad.
  • 2007-Platinum jubilee celebration inaugurated by famous Play-back Singer Smt. S. Janaky
  • 2008-Long-term Housing Loan to Members
  • 2009-EMS Housing Scheme - Loans to Local Self Government Best Performance Award for the Bank by Farmers Club Federation of NABARD.
